Çankaya University has been a member of Cisco Networking Academy since June 2015. Our university has been providing Cisco CCNA certification trainings since fall semester of 2015.
Every year, the Cisco Networking Academy program teaches hundreds of thousands of students the skills required to create, design and maintain networks, and applies their skills to the world, meeting their demand for network professionals.
Cisco Network Academy helps individuals to prepare for an information technology career through 165 countries' industry-wide certifications.
Cisco CCNA trainings are coordinated by the Department of Computer Engineering. Undergraduate students of our university receive elective courses, and non-university candidates receive training under the Continuing Education, Consultation and Research Center (SEDAM).
CCNA (Cisco Certified Networking Associate) provides general theoretical and practical knowledge on network technologies, and provides training in applications and talent development. It prepares participants for CCNA certification exams by explaining network technologies in the axis of protocols, theory and advanced technologies.
Cisco CCNA certification for network colleagues verifies the ability to set up, configure, operate, and troubleshoot mid-sized, routed and switched networks, as well as the ability to implement and verify connections to remote sites on a wide area network. The trainees can continue their careers as network managers, network installers and network engineers.
Cisco CCNA certification trainings will be provided on both campuses of our university. For this purpose, two laboratories have been established.
Due to its proximity to the center of Ankara, the Balgat Campus Laboratory will serve mostly graduated in and out of university candidates. This training is given by Çankaya University SEDAM (Continuing Education, Consultancy and Research Center).
The Central Campus Laboratory serves our undergraduate students. In the established laboratory, elective courses for Cisco CCNA training were opened. Students meeting the prerequisites can take engineering or departmental elective courses.
Membership in Cisco Networking Academy allows instructors to provide relevant Cisco Certification trainings if they receive Instructor Training. The following faculty members have received and successfully completed CCNA Trainer Training:
These lecturers are instructors in certificate courses and courses offered since fall semester of 2015.
